We’d Love to Hear From You

HomeFix Pro is run by real people — licensed contractors, electricians, and renovators who genuinely enjoy helping homeowners tackle projects with confidence. When you email us, you’re talking to someone who has actually swung a hammer, pulled wire, or laid flooring. Not a chatbot. Not a customer service script. A real person who cares about getting you the right answer.

How to Reach Us

The fastest and best way to contact us is email:

📧 info@thehomefixpro.com

We check our inbox regularly and typically respond within 24-48 hours. If you haven’t heard back after two business days, check your spam folder — sometimes our replies get caught there. If it’s still not there, send a follow-up and we’ll get right on it.

What We Can Help You With

We’re happy to hear about any of the following:

Questions About a Project

Stuck on a DIY repair? Something in one of our guides not making sense? Dealing with a specific situation in your home that isn’t covered in the article? Send us the details. We can’t promise we’ll have the answer — every house is different — but we’ll do our best to point you in the right direction. Include photos if you can. They help more than you’d think.

Article Corrections or Updates

Home improvement is always evolving. Products get discontinued. Building codes change. New techniques replace old ones. If you spot something in one of our articles that’s outdated, inaccurate, or incomplete, please let us know. We review every correction and update articles promptly. You’ll be helping every homeowner who reads that guide after you.

Topic Suggestions

Is there a home repair project you wish we’d cover? A product comparison you’d find helpful? A technique you’ve always wanted explained clearly? Tell us. We plan our content around what homeowners actually need, and your suggestions help us prioritize. We read every suggestion even if we can’t personally respond to all of them.

Partnership and Collaboration

If you’re a contractor, manufacturer, tool company, or fellow home improvement educator interested in working together — reach out. We’re open to guest posts (by real practitioners, not content mills), product demos (tools we’d actually use ourselves), and collaborations that benefit our readers. We’ll be straight with you about whether it’s a fit.

Media and Press

Looking for a quote from a licensed contractor for your article? Want to feature one of our guides? Need an expert opinion on a home improvement topic? Email us with your deadline and what you need. We’ll get back to you quickly.

What We Can’t Help With

Just to set expectations — here are a few things we can’t do:

Emergency Advice

If you are experiencing an emergency — a gas leak, electrical sparking, flooding, structural collapse, or any situation that threatens life or property — stop reading and call 911 or your local emergency services immediately. Do not email us for emergency advice. We can’t respond fast enough, and we are not a substitute for emergency responders.

Specific Code Questions for Your Jurisdiction

Building codes vary by city, county, and state. We write our guides to generally applicable standards (like the International Residential Code), but we can’t tell you exactly what’s required in your specific town. For that, call your local building department. They’re usually happy to help, and it’s free.

One-on-One Coaching or Remote Troubleshooting

We wish we could walk every homeowner through their repair step-by-step. But there’s a limit to what we can diagnose over email. We can answer questions about our guides, clarify steps, and offer general advice — but we can’t provide real-time coaching or guarantee a solution to your specific problem.

Product Warranties or Customer Service for Products We Recommend

We link to products and retailers, but we don’t manufacture or sell anything ourselves. If you bought a product based on our recommendation and it arrived damaged, defective, or wasn’t what you expected, contact the retailer or manufacturer directly. We have no control over their fulfillment, shipping, or warranty processes.

About the Team

HomeFix Pro was founded in 2024 by a group of licensed contractors and experienced renovators. Collectively, we’ve completed over 500 residential and commercial projects across the United States. Our team includes:

  • Licensed general contractors with experience in framing, drywall, flooring, and finish carpentry
  • Licensed electricians who understand residential wiring, panel upgrades, and code compliance
  • Experienced plumbers who’ve tackled everything from toilet flappers to full repipes
  • Home renovation specialists with backgrounds in kitchen and bath remodeling

We started this site because we kept seeing bad advice online — tutorials that skipped critical safety steps, guides that glossed over building codes, recommendations that pushed products instead of solving problems. We wanted to build the resource we wished existed when we were learning the trades.

Every article on HomeFix Pro is:

  • Written by someone who’s done the work — practitioners, not content farms
  • Fact-checked by a second expert — safety and code compliance verified
  • Updated regularly — we revisit articles when codes change or products improve

We don’t publish AI-generated content without human review. Every article you read here has been touched, reviewed, and approved by a real person with real experience.

Response Time

We aim to respond to all emails within 24-48 hours during business days (Monday through Friday). Emails received over the weekend may take until Monday for a response. During holidays, we might be a bit slower — but we’ll still get back to you.

If your question is about one of our articles, including the article title in your email helps us route it to the right team member faster.

Stay Connected

The best way to stay in the loop is to bookmark the site and check back regularly. We publish new guides every week, and we update existing articles whenever building codes change or better techniques emerge.

Questions, feedback, corrections, or just want to say hi? We read every email. info@thehomefixpro.com

We look forward to hearing from you.
